DUQ's offices and studios are located in Des Places Hall at the intersection of Locust and Stevenson Streets on the eastern side of the Duquesne University campus. Des Places Hall is across the street from the Mercy Hospital complex.

From the North

From the North and PA Turnpike

Take PA Turnpike (I-76) to exit 3, Cranberry/Pittsburgh.
Follow I-79 South and I-279 toward Pittsburgh.
Follow the signs to the Veteran’s Bridge.
Cross the Veteran’s Bridge and take exit 7, Mellon Arena.
Follow signs to the Mellon Arena and make a right at the stop light on to Washington Place.
Cross Fifth Avenue, and proceed up the hill to Forbes Avenue; turn left on to Forbes.
At the second stop light, make a right on to Stevenson Street.
WDUQ is located in Des Places Hall (the third building on the right).

From Beaver County and Route 65

Take Rt. 65 to I-279 South toward Pittsburgh.
Follow I-376 East toward Monroeville.
Take exit 3, Grant Street.
Make a right on to Forbes Avenue.
At the sixth stop light, make a right on Stevenson Street.
WDUQ is located in Des Places Hall (the third building on the right).

From Route 28

Take I-579, Liberty Bridge ramp.
Go across the Veteran’s Bridge and take exit 7, Mellon Arena.
Follow signs to the Mellon Arena and make a right at the stop light on to Washington Place.
Cross Fifth Avenue, and proceed up the hill to Forbes Avenue; turn left on to Forbes.
At the second stop light, make a right on Stevenson Street.
WDUQ is located in Des Places Hall (the third building on the right).

From the South

From West Liberty Avenue and Liberty Tunnels

Take Rt. 51 through the Liberty Tunnels.
Travel across the bridge and follow signs to Forbes Avenue.
At the first light turn right on to Forbes Avenue.
At the fourth stop light, turn right on Stevenson Street.
WDUQ is located in Des Places Hall (the third building on the right).

From the East

From Oakland

Take Fifth Avenue toward downtown Pittsburgh.
Make a left turn on to Stevenson Street. Cross Forbes Avenue and continue up the hill.
WDUQ is located in Des Places Hall (the third building on the right).

From Monroeville and PA Turnpike

Take PA Turnpike (I-76) to exit 6, Pittsburgh.
Follow I-376 West toward Pittsburgh.
Proceed through the Squirrel Hill Tunnels.
Take exit 6, Boulevard of the Allies.
Stay in the right lane.
Go approximately 3/4 of a mile. When you see the Mercy Hospital complex, exit on to Bluff Street.
Turn right on to Stevenson Street.
WDUQ is located in Des Places Hall (the third building on the left).

From the West

From the Airport and Fort Pitt Tunnels

Take I-279 North.
Follow signs to Pittsburgh.
Go through Fort Pitt Tunnels
Get in the right lane.
After exiting the tunnel, follow signs to I-376 East, Monroeville.
Take exit 3, Grant Street.
Make a right on to Forbes Avenue.
At the sixth stop light, make a right on Stevenson Street.
WDUQ is located in Des Places Hall (the third building on the right).

Parking Information

Duquesne University visitor parking is available in the Forbes Avenue Garage (enter on Forbes Avenue between McAnulty Drive and Magee Street). Hourly rates are charged.

Mercy Hospital has a parking garage with entrances on Locust Street and Forbes Avenue. Hourly rates are charged.

Limited, metered street parking is available on Stevenson Street.

Please be aware that the parking lot surrounding Des Places Hall is by permit only.

Bus Service

Public bus transportation is available to the nearby intersections of Forbes Avenue and Stevenson Street and Fifth Avenue and Stevenson Street. Please contact Port Authority Transit at 412.442.2000 for schedule information.
